Zest Recruitment is actively seeking a Regional Sales Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge in the North of England.

Salary: £65k - £70k basic + Car, Bonus, Benefits, OTE £80k+
This is a senior sales role, managing a direct sales force for a large geographical region (Northern England, Scotland & Ireland) in order to ensure that a dedicated and directed sales effort is applied to existing and potential mid size and small accounts. The role involves designing, managing and implementing the strategic and business plans for those accounts. You will work closely with the Technical and Operations teams to ensure that appropriate product offerings are tendered to the market in a timely and cost effective fashion.
It is necessary that applicants interested in pursuing the Regional Sales Manager role are educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant commercial discipline and can demonstrate proven professional sales experience in the Printing, Packaging, Chemicals, Scientific, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing or Engineering arena, managing large sales teams and key accounts in a regional management role.
Knowledge, skills & experience required;
- Leadership skills and significant experience of managing regional sales teams
- Experience in managing a large change agenda successfully
- Strong direct sales experience / account management experience
- Specific experience of handling contracts and negotiations successfully
- Project management skills and good marketing knowledge
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
