Weighing Operative, Hazardous Materials - Loughborough

Zest Business Group is currently recruiting for a range of Warehouse Operative vacancies for our Loughborough based client (hazardous materials manufacturer).  Working as part of a team of Weighing Operatives, you will be responsible for packing a Chemical product range into packing tubes in accordance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and Departmental procedures in order to meet specific customer demands.

The Weighing Operative will be required to identify the correct chemical compounds, checking batch numbers, chemical code numbers and quantities ensuring that the product is clearly labeled and is packed in compliance with standard work procedures.  Products will be packed in order to meet customer specific requirements (weight, safe storage and ensuring accuracy of product identification) and you will be required to use a wide range of measuring and weighing equipment in order to ensure accurate results.  It is essential that the Weighing Operative can complete the relevant documentation in a legible manner and able to work to KPI's and in line with pre defined safe working practices.

The position is based at my clients Loughborough production facility and the working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm (Mon-Fri).  Zest Business Group would welcome applications from candidates who can work cooperatively as part of a distribution team, capable of using IT tracking systems, weighing equipment and working in adherence to prescribed safety guidelines, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.  English language speaking, reading and writing skills are essential.
